Explanation of evidence: The money book was an easy and engaging way to reward positive behaviour. By focusing on the positives, the students were eager to earn class money in order to give them the best opportunity to be the highest bidder during the auction. On Friday's I would auction off items like footballs, buckets of slime, journal writing kits, puzzles and many other things of interest to the students. Their buy was a key part of the CMS, as such the prizes while not costing much were of value to them. It was important for me to use money specific vocabulary and to try make the system replicate the real world as much as possible.
